Staff Software Engineer

Role Overview
At Core Edge Solutions, we don't just build software; we engineer the hardware-software symbiosis that powers autonomous systems. As a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer, you will be the linchpin in our hardware intelligence team. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of embedded software development, from bare-metal programming to RTOS integration, ensuring deterministic performance for mission-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop highly optimized firmware in C/C++ for custom SoCs and microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M/R/A).
- Collaborate closely with the VLSI team during silicon bring-up and validate hardware blocks via low-level drivers.
- Implement and tune RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr) configurations for hard real-time requirements in telecommunication edge nodes.
- Develop robust testing frameworks including HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) simulations and automated regression suites.
Qualifications & Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in embedded software development.
- Expert-level proficiency in C and modern C++, with a deep understanding of memory management and concurrency.
- Proven experience with communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe, Ethernet).
