IoT Engineer
Connect edge devices to the cloud. You will build end-to-end IoT communication pipelines, sensor gateways, and distributed fleet management platforms.
Role Overview
As an IoT Engineer, you will bridge the gap between embedded smart devices and scalable cloud infrastructures. You will architect robust data ingestion pipelines, implement low-power wireless networking protocols, and ensure seamless device-to-cloud security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy communication architectures utilizing MQTT, CoAP, HTTPS, BLE, Wi-Fi, and LoRaWAN protocols.
- Integrate IoT devices with major cloud IoT platforms (AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT).
- Implement edge computing logic, local data buffering, and device provisioning at scale.
- Build real-time dashboards and telemetry monitoring tools for operational fleet intelligence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IoT systems development and cloud connectivity.
- Proficiency in Python, C/C++, and Node.js with strong knowledge of networking stacks (TCP/IP, TLS).
- Experience with IoT security best practices, certificate-based authentication, and encryption standards.
