Role Overview

As a Firmware Engineer at Core Edge Solutions, you will build the core firmware running on millions of distributed edge devices. You will write clean, robust bare-metal and RTOS code that communicates with on-board sensors, manages power states, and ensures secure over-the-air updates.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and optimize device drivers for I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, and Ethernet peripherals.
• Implement bootloaders, secure cryptographic firmware verification, and fault-tolerant OTA update mechanisms.
• Profile and optimize memory usage, interrupt latency, and power consumption for battery-operated devices.
• Work closely with QA to build automated test rigs and continuous integration pipelines for embedded hardware.

Qualifications & Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in bare-metal and RTOS-based embedded C development.
• Solid understanding of ARM Cortex architecture, memory registers, DMA, and hardware timers.
• Experience with embedded debugging tools (JTAG, SWD, Ozone, GDB, logic analyzers).
